Yeopo's Dream Red (Sweet) is a 12% ABV fruit wine from Yeopo Wine Farm in Chungcheongbuk-do, made with 100% Korean-grown grapes. The commitment to fully domestic fruit is notable — it grounds the wine in regional terroir rather than imported bulk grape concentrate. The nose is fragrant and generous: ripe grape, a hint of strawberry, and a gentle floral sweetness. On the palate, the body is medium-light and approachable, with a juicy, fruit-driven flow. The sweetness is present throughout but the wine maintains enough acidity to avoid becoming one-dimensional — there is a fresh edge that keeps the profile lively. The finish is moderate and clean, with lingering grape warmth. Silver medalist at the 2014 Korea Wine Awards, and the brewery was selected for the 2019 Visiting Brewery program, adding credibility and a visitable story to the bottle. Serve chilled at 7-10°C with cheese boards where the fruit sweetness contrasts salted-aged varieties, alongside light appetizers for a welcoming opening pour, or with berry tarts and cream desserts where the wine amplifies the fruit theme.
