Description

Yeopo's Dream White is a 12% ABV white fruit wine from Yeopo Wine Farm Brewery in Chungcheongbuk-do, crafted exclusively from domestically grown Korean grapes. This is a white-style expression that emphasizes clarity and freshness over weight, letting the grape's brighter aromatic facets lead. The nose delivers orchard fruit - think green grape skin, unripe pear, and a whisper of white flower - before a clean, gently sweet palate takes over. The body is light-medium with a crisp, almost mineral-tinged backbone that distinguishes it from heavier sweet fruit wines. Sweetness is measured and well-integrated, allowing the fruit character to stay legible rather than drowning in sugar. The finish is tidy and moderately short, with a refreshing lift that resets the palate. The wine's competition record is outstanding: Top Prize in the fruit wine category at the 2017 Korea Traditional Liquor Awards and an Excellence Award in 2015. The brewery was also designated a 2019 Chajaganeun Yangjojang. Serve at 7-10°C with raw fish (hoe) where the wine's brightness cleanses the palate between bites, with young soft cheeses, or with light appetizers like vegetable tempura where the delicate fruit complements without overwhelming.
