Rice Is Naturally Sweet 12% is a 12% ABV makgeolli from Gyeonggi-do, brewed with domestic rice, ipguk, traditional nuruk, and modernized nuruk. True to its name, sweetness takes the lead, but in a way that feels rounded and fermentation-derived rather than sugary. The dense, creamy body carries genuine depth, supported by the interplay of old and new nuruk styles. It is especially compelling with crispy jeon, fried chicken, and sharply fermented kimchi, where the natural sweetness provides a soothing counterbalance.
