Korean Makgeolli

Onggeundal Bon Makgeolli

옹근달 본막걸리

ABV15%
Volume375ml

Description

Onggeundal Bon Makgeolli is a 15% ABV makgeolli from Incheon brewed exclusively with Ganghwa Island rice, purified water, and nuruk — nothing else. This three-ingredient purity, combined with the notably high proof for a makgeolli, produces a drink with deep grain character and a velvety, full-bodied texture that feels closer to a sake or natural wine than a casual rice drink. The Ganghwa Island terroir contributes mineral and earthy undertones that distinguish it from mainland rice makgeollis. At 375ml, it is portioned for mindful sipping rather than casual consumption.
