Korean Makgeolli

Geumpung Yangjo

금풍양조

Volume750ml

Description

Geumpung Brewing Makgeolli is a 6.9% ABV makgeolli from Incheon, brewed with Ganghwa Island rice that gives it a distinctly grain-forward core. The Ganghwa terroir — known for its clean tidal-flat air and mineral-rich soil — imparts a nuttier, more savory rice character than typical mainland rice makgeolli. Creamy sweetness layers over this grain base to create a pour that feels more flavorful and present than its moderate proof suggests. It pairs confidently with crispy jeon, fried foods, and boldly fermented Korean side dishes.
