
송도막걸리
Songdo Makgeolli is a 6% ABV rice wine from Incheon's Songdohyang Brewery that takes a creative, urban approach to traditional makgeolli brewing. The base of Korean rice and rice-barley is joined by unexpected additions: sweet potato, lemon, and xylitol. The sweet potato adds a subtle earthy roundness, the lemon provides a citrus edge that keeps sweetness from becoming heavy, and xylitol contributes clean sweetness without cloying aftertaste. The result is a playful, modern makgeolli that drinks bright and refreshing. At 6% ABV, it stays sessionable across a full meal of shared Korean dishes.
