Rabong is a 5.5% ABV makgeolli from Jeollanam-do that highlights Hallabong citrus from Jeju as its defining flavor element. Brewed with domestic rice, nuruk starter, and oligosaccharide, the citrus character comes through as genuine fruit brightness rather than artificial flavoring. The texture is creamy and full-bodied in the makgeolli tradition, but gentle fermentation acidity prevents the sweetness from becoming flat or cloying.
