Description

Gwigam is a 25% ABV citrus spirit from Jeju, built on Jeju-grown citrus juice (gamgyul), white sugar, liquid yeast, steviol glycoside, potassium metabisulfite, and citric acid. The ingredient list reveals a modern, production-oriented approach rather than a traditional grain-based method, with the Jeju citrus as the defining character element. Jeju's tangerines and citrus varieties carry a distinctive bright, slightly tart sweetness that is immediately recognizable to anyone who has tasted the island's famous fruit. The nose opens with fresh Jeju tangerine peel, candied citrus, and a clean, zesty brightness that feels almost juicy. On the palate, the body is light with a smooth, accessible texture.
