Godori White Wine Sweet is a 10.5% ABV sweet white fruit wine from Godori Winery in Gyeongsangbuk-do, made from Kyoho (Geobong) grapes grown in Yeongcheon. Kyoho grapes are prized across East Asia for their large, intensely flavored berries, and when vinified into a white-style wine, they produce a distinctive aromatic profile that sits between floral grape and honeyed stone fruit. The nose opens with grape blossom, white peach, and a warm honey drizzle. On the palate, the body is light-medium with an elegant, flowing texture that makes the sweetness feel refined rather than heavy. The Kyoho grape's natural aromatic intensity means the flavor stays vivid from the first sip to the finish, with layers of tropical fruit and candied grape revealing themselves gradually. The finish is moderately long with gentle warmth and a clean, floral close. The wine earned Excellence Awards at the Korea Traditional Liquor Competition in both 2011 and 2017, and the winery was designated a 2018 Chajaganeun Yangjojang. Serve at 7-10°C with raw fish (hoe) where the delicate sweetness provides a gentle counterpoint, with young mild cheese, or with light appetizers where the floral-grape character sets an elegant opening.
