그랑꼬또 레드와인
Geurangkkotto Red Wine is a 12% ABV red fruit wine from Gyeonggi-do, crafted with domestically grown Campbell Early grapes — Korea's most widely planted table grape variety. Campbell Early is known for its intensely fragrant, candy-grape aroma that Koreans associate with childhood fruit memories, and this wine leans fully into that nostalgic character rather than trying to imitate European red wine profiles. The nose is unmistakably Campbell — purple candy grape, grape soda, and a warm, slightly musky sweetness that feels familiar and comforting. On the palate, the body is light-medium with a supple, rounded texture. The sweetness is approachable and fruit-driven, with soft tannins that provide gentle structure without any astringent bite. There is a pleasant, juicy mid-palate that recalls fresh grape juice elevated by fermentation's complexity. The finish is moderate and smooth, leaving a warm grape-candy echo. Made by a 2017 Chajaganeun Yangjojang (Visiting Brewery) producer, the wine reflects polished craft applied to an unapologetically Korean grape. The 750ml bottle is built for sharing. Serve at 12-15°C with cheese and crackers for a casual pairing, alongside Korean fried chicken where the grape sweetness contrasts crispy salt, or with light bites at picnics and outdoor gatherings.
