Chusa Rose is a 12% ABV rosé-style fruit wine from Yesan Apple Wine Brewery in Chungcheongnam-do, made from apples. This is an apple wine presented through a rosé lens - the color and concept borrow from grape rosé conventions, but the flavor is entirely apple-driven. The nose is delicate and inviting, with rose-tinted apple blossom, ripe red apple, and a soft candied note. On the palate, the body is light-medium with an elegant, silky texture that gives the wine a refined feel despite its fruit-forward nature. The apple sweetness is present but polished, with a cleanliness that avoids any rough or cloying edges. A gentle acidity - characteristic of good apple wine - runs through the mid-palate, providing just enough tension to maintain interest. The finish is moderate, smooth, and closes with a warm apple glow. The 375ml bottle makes it an ideal aperitif or dessert-course companion without overcommitting.
