Cheonghon Blue is a 15% ABV cheongju (clear rice wine) from J&J Brewery in Gyeonggi-do, brewed with Yongin Baekok rice and wheat nuruk. The approach is one of precision and restraint - the wine is filtered to clarity, and the flavor profile stays clean, smooth, and polished without any assertive fermentation funk. At 15%, it carries enough body to stand alongside Korean dishes with nuance, yet remains light enough that it never overshadows delicate flavors. The 375ml format fits intimate meals, particularly grilled fish, steamed plates, or full hanjeongsik courses where every element on the table benefits from a drink that supports rather than leads.
