Cheonghon Gold is a 19.5% ABV soju from Gyeonggi-do crafted around Yongin Baekok rice, a local cultivar prized for its clean grain flavor. Wheat nuruk fermentation followed by distillation produces a spirit with a polished, silky texture and a subtle rice sweetness that lingers on the finish. At 375ml, the bottle is sized for sharing over a Korean meal. The grain-forward profile keeps it distinct from diluted commercial sojus, while the moderate proof ensures drinkability - firm enough to cut through fatty grilled meats, yet gentle enough to accompany lighter dishes like steamed fish or vegetable banchan.
