Byeolheju 1941

Description

Byeolheju 1941 is a 17% ABV spirit from Jeollanam-do, produced by Baegun Brewing using domestic plum (maesil), purified water, fermented spirit (balhyo jujung), fructose, sea salt (cheonil yeom), erythritol, and L-aspartic acid. The sea salt is the unexpected element: it introduces a subtle saline edge that lifts the plum sweetness and prevents the profile from becoming flat or one-dimensionally fruity. The plum provides vivid stone-fruit character with natural tartness, while erythritol and fructose manage the sweetness level without adding heaviness. The name "1941" suggests historical or heritage significance to the brewery.
