Description
Naejangsan Black Raspberry Wine Jitong No.1 is a 16% ABV bokbunja fruit wine from Naejangsan Black Raspberry Cooperative Brewery in Jeollabuk-do, made with bokbunja, distilled spirit, purified water, and sugar. Jeollabuk-do is one of Korea's premier bokbunja-growing regions, and this wine captures the area's dark, lush berry character in a generous 700ml bottle. The nose is immediately deep - ripe bokbunja jam, dark plum, and a subtle floral sweetness that hints at the berry's wild origins. On the palate, the 16% ABV delivers a warm, full-bodied experience with a velvety texture that coats the palate generously. The sweetness is substantial but the fruit core is vivid enough to maintain definition, and a gentle astringency from the berry provides structural backbone. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit lingering well past the last sip. Serve at 10-14°C with creamy brie or aged camembert where the concentrated berry sweetness provides a satisfying counterweight, alongside nutty desserts like walnut brownies, or as a standalone digestif on cool evenings.
