
완도유자막걸리
Wando Yuzu Makgeolli is a 6% ABV makgeolli from Jeollanam-do that pairs locally grown Wando rice with yuzu juice to create a citrus-forward drinking experience. The yuzu note arrives immediately on the nose as a fragrant, aromatic top layer, then gives way to the rice body's creamy, gently sweet underbelly. Brewed with wheat flour, koji starter, yeast, and refined enzyme alongside the yuzu, the fermentation achieves a balance where citrus brightness lifts rather than overwhelms. When well chilled, the finish turns notably zesty, making fried dishes and fermented kimchi taste cleaner with each sip.
