샤토미소 레드 드라이
Chateau Miso Red Dry is a 13% ABV dry red fruit wine from Doranwon Brewery in Chungcheongbuk-do, blending three distinct grape varieties: MBA (Muscat Bailey A), wild mountain grape (sanmeoru), and Campbell Early. This triple-blend approach creates a layered complexity that single-variety Korean fruit wines rarely achieve. MBA contributes a soft berry base, sanmeoru adds rustic tannin and earthy depth, and Campbell Early brings candy-grape aromatics and bright fruit lift. The nose opens with dark berries, dried herbs, and a subtle wild-grape earthiness that hints at mountain terroir. On the palate, the body is medium with a drier, more structured profile than most Korean fruit wines — the tannins from the sanmeoru component provide genuine grip, while the sweetness stays restrained and secondary. The finish is moderate to long, with lingering berry skin bitterness and a clean, food-friendly resolution. Produced by a 2019 Chajaganeun Yangjojang designated brewery, the craftsmanship is evident. Serve at 14-16°C with aged cheese boards where the tannic structure meets fat, alongside grilled meats or hearty stews, or with dark chocolate desserts where the earthy berry notes find a natural partner.
