The grain bill combines rice, wheat flour, and Pyeonghwami (a Korean rice variety), creating a creamy, mildly sweet profile with a soft milky body. At just 6%, it drinks bright and easy, with enough grain character to feel substantive without any heaviness. The "fresh" (saeng) designation indicates it is unpasteurized, preserving live cultures and a natural effervescence. Named after the Sobaek Mountains that define the Chungbuk landscape, this makgeolli captures the region's agricultural character in every pour.
