Description
Gangnaengi Makgeolli is a 6% ABV corn-accented makgeolli from Chungcheongbuk-do's Yongdusan Joeunsul Brewery that foregrounds corn flour (okbun) alongside rice and wheat flour. The corn gives it a distinctive nutty, grain-forward aroma that evokes rural Korean nostalgia, while gardenia powder adds a bright yellow color. At 6%, it drinks light and easy, with a creamy sweetness enhanced by oligosaccharides and a smooth finish. The corn character clearly separates it from standard rice makgeollis, offering a textural and aromatic alternative for drinkers seeking something different in the makgeolli category.
