Description

Sinabro Cheongsu White is a 12% ABV white fruit wine from Sinabro Winery in Chungcheongbuk-do, made from 100% Cheongsu grapes - a Korean grape variety specifically bred for Korean terroir and winemaking. The Cheongsu grape produces wines with a distinctive bright acidity and aromatic clarity that sets them apart from Campbell Early-based bottlings. The nose is elegant with white fruit, pear, and a delicate floral lift. On the palate, the body is light-medium with a polished, refined texture and a gently sweet core balanced by a crisp acidic line that runs cleanly through the finish. The wine drinks with an almost East Asian precision - nothing is excessive, and every element serves the whole. The award record is outstanding: Grand Prize at the 2019 Korea Traditional Liquor Competition in the fruit wine category, plus gold medals at the Asia Wine Trophy in 2015, 2016, and 2018 - international validation of domestic excellence. Serve at 8-11°C with hoe (raw fish) where the wine's transparency and acidity complement delicate seafood, alongside light cheese plates, or with Japanese-Korean fusion dishes where the restrained elegance finds a natural home.
