Seonsan Sweet is an 8% ABV makgeolli from Gyeongsangbuk-do, brewed with 100% Seonsan glutinous rice, domestic nuruk, yeast, and purified water. Seonsan, in Gumi city of Gyeongsangbuk-do, is a traditional glutinous rice cultivation area, and the exclusive use of local chapssal gives this makgeolli a notably dense, chewy grain character. The nuruk provides genuine fermentation depth rather than enzyme shortcutting, creating a creamy, sweet-leaning pour that still finishes with enough structure to pair with savory foods.
