Description
Sanmak Winery Biwon Pure is a 13% ABV grape wine from Chungcheongbuk-do that leans into ripe fruit sweetness while maintaining a clean, polished palate line. The texture is soft and inviting, making it versatile enough for cheese and light starters as well as delicate raw fish dishes. International recognition at the 2021 Paris Wine Cup (Silver) and the 2020 International Wine Challenge positions this wine as one of the more credentialed Korean fruit wines on the market. The grape base provides a familiar fruit-wine framework, but the careful winemaking - evident in the balance between sweetness and acidity - elevates it above commodity level.
