Description

Sanmak Winery Aropure is a 13% ABV aronia wine from Chungcheongbuk-do that draws its deep purple color and concentrated berry character entirely from aronia berries. Aronia (chokeberry) is naturally high in tannins and anthocyanins, giving this wine a richer, darker tone than most Korean fruit wines in its class. Sugar rounds out the inherent tartness into a sweet, approachable finish, while the berry intensity remains front and center. A Bronze medal at the 2021 Paris Wine Cup confirms that the wine's craft extends beyond easy drinking into genuine quality.
