Roa 40 Purple is a 40% ABV grape-based soju distilled from Korean-grown grapes in Chungcheongnam-do. The distillate captures vivid grape aromatics - more vineyard than candy - while the palate stays dry and disciplined despite the fruit-forward nose. At 350ml, it is sized for focused sipping rather than table sharing. The clean, linear finish leaves little residual sweetness, letting the grape character speak through structure rather than sugar. Drinkers who enjoy grappa or eau-de-vie will find a Korean parallel here, one built on domestic fruit and careful distillation.
