Description

Roa Porto is a 40% ABV rice spirit from Chungcheongnam-do, distilled from domestic rice spirit base. At this proof, it enters territory typically occupied by Western spirits, yet the rice-derived core keeps the palate distinctly Korean - clean, precise, and free of the barrel-driven complexity that defines aged whisky or brandy. The body is smooth and focused, with a straight architectural line from entry to finish that rewards measured sipping. At 700ml, it is a full-sized bottle for serious occasions: neat pours alongside galbi where the spirit's clarity contrasts marbled richness, or with sashimi where its neutral intensity cleans the palate between pieces.
