Fogmak 10 is a 10% ABV traditional drink from Daegu, brewed by Dalseong Brewery using glutinous rice, koji, and yeast. The glutinous rice base gives a naturally round, sweet grain character, while careful koji ratios keep the fermentation clean rather than aggressively funky. At 10%, it sits in a comfortable middle ground between everyday light makgeolli and heavier premium styles, with enough body to pair meaningfully with food but smooth enough to drink without fatigue. Daegu's brewing tradition here yields a straightforward, well-balanced product that prioritizes drinkability.
