Damjinju is a 9% ABV traditional fermented alcohol from Naeoldam Brewery in Gyeonggi-do, crafted with Gyeonggi rice and domestic wheat nuruk (urimil-nuruk). The focus here is on clean grain structure rather than flashy fruit or floral notes - this is a quiet, composed pour that lets the rice and nuruk speak for themselves. The 9% ABV provides enough body to stand up to savory Korean foods without overwhelming delicate banchan, and the finish stays smooth and balanced throughout.
