Third (3rd) is a 9% ABV traditional brew from Gyeonggi-do, produced by Doban Brewery using Paju-grown glutinous rice and non-glutinous rice fermented with Gimpo-made wheat nuruk. The local sourcing is intentional — Paju rice and Gimpo nuruk represent two of Gyeonggi's strongest agricultural traditions, and their pairing in a single bottle creates a terroir-driven character uncommon in the category. The body is smooth with enough acidity to stay lively, and the moderate proof allows it to anchor a long meal without fatigue. Banchan-heavy tables and charcoal-grilled meats both find an easygoing partner in its balanced, grain-forward profile.
