Persimmongeurin Ice Wine is a 10% ABV ice-style fruit wine from Cheongdo Persimmon Wine Brewery in Gyeongsangbuk-do, made entirely from Korean-grown persimmons. The ice-wine treatment concentrates the persimmon's natural sugars, producing a honeyed intensity that fresh-fruit versions cannot match. The nose is captivating — ripe persimmon, dried apricot, orange blossom honey, and a warm amber-fruit complexity. On the palate, the body is light-medium with a silky, almost nectar-like texture that makes each sip feel luxurious without heaviness. The persimmon sweetness is rich and layered, revealing dried fruit, caramel, and subtle spice notes as the wine warms in the glass.
