Nyangi Takju 9do is a 9% ABV craft makgeolli from Gyeonggi-do with one of the most complex ingredient lists in the category: Korean honey, omija berry, pine shoots, glutinous barley, and glutinous sorghum join the standard rice-and-nuruk base. Each ingredient contributes a distinct layer - honey adds floral sweetness, omija brings tart brightness, pine shoots lend herbal freshness, and the ancient grains deepen the body. The result is a makgeolli with unmistakable craft character that still works with classic pairings like jeon, fried chicken, and kimchi.
