Nokcheon Sogok Hwaju 500ml is a 41% ABV traditional distilled spirit from Chungcheongnam-do, produced by Nokcheon Distillery using glutinous rice, white rice, nuruk, and purified water. The sogok method - a multi-stage fermentation technique where successive additions of grain and nuruk build layered complexity - gives this spirit a depth of grain character that single-stage fermentations cannot achieve. At 41%, the body is firm and warming, yet the careful distillation yields a finish that is unexpectedly smooth for the proof.
