Cool Shot 7.5 is a 7.5% ABV bokbunja (Korean black raspberry) fruit wine from Gochangseonunsan Brewery in Jeollabuk-do, made with bokbunja fruit, distilled spirit, yeast, citric acid, and purified water. This release deliberately steps away from the heavier, more concentrated bokbunja wines (often 12-15%) to offer a lighter, session-friendly take on the berry. The nose is bright and berry-forward — ripe black raspberry, a flash of pomegranate, and a gentle tartness that signals freshness. On the palate, the body is light with a breezy, almost spritz-like quality that makes each sip effortless. The bokbunja character is clearly present — that distinctive dark-berry sweetness and faintly earthy undertone — but delivered at a lower intensity that encourages continuous sipping rather than contemplative nursing. The finish is short and clean, with a pleasant fruity snap. The 300ml bottle is ideal for solo enjoyment, especially in warmer weather when something cold and fruity is all you want. Serve well-chilled at 5-8°C with light cheese and dried fruit pairings, alongside casual snack spreads, or on its own as a refreshing afternoon drink when heavier wines feel like too much commitment.
