고창선운산 복분자주 특1호
Gochangseonunsan Black Raspberry Wine Teuk No.1 is a 15% ABV bokbunja fruit wine from Gochangseonunsan Brewery in Jeollabuk-do, crafted with bokbunja fruit, distilled spirit, yeast, citric acid, and purified water. This is the flagship expression — the 'Teuk 1-ho' (Special No.1) designation signals a fuller, more concentrated take on the brewery's bokbunja, and the 1,800ml bottle format confirms its intention for celebratory or communal settings. The nose is deep and enveloping — ripe black raspberry jam, dried plum, black cherry, and a warm, almost liqueur-like intensity that fills the room. On the palate, the body is medium-full with a coating, generous texture. The 15% alcohol provides a persistent warmth that stretches the berry flavors across a long palate arc. Sweetness is abundant but supported by the bokbunja's natural tartness and the faintest grip from fruit tannins, preventing one-dimensionality. The finish is long and satisfying, with berry concentration and spiced warmth lingering well after each sip. The Gochang Seonunsan region is one of Korea's most celebrated bokbunja-growing areas. Serve at 12-15°C with aged cheese where the intensity finds balance, alongside holiday meat dishes, or with rich desserts like flourless chocolate cake where the dark berry magnifies cocoa depth.
