Description

Jiranjigyo Fig Takju is a 12% ABV makgeolli from Jeollabuk-do, produced by the Chingudeuluisul Jiranjigyo Brewery using glutinous and non-glutinous domestic rice with traditional wheat nuruk. Fig syrup layered over the rice-nuruk base introduces a ripe, plush fruit tone that reads as naturally sweet rather than artificially sugary, while red beet powder adds a subtle rosy depth to both color and aromatic perception. The 500ml bottle carries enough structure at 12% to support the fruit richness without collapse, and the traditional nuruk provides an earthy counterweight to the fig sweetness. It is one of the more visually and aromatically expressive takju options in the fruit-infused category.
