Gaksital is a 45% ABV soju from Myeongpum Andong Soju Brewery in Gyeongsangbuk-do, distilled from domestic Korean rice and blended with fermented spirit. The name evokes Andong's cultural heritage, and the spirit itself reflects the region's long distillation tradition. At 45%, it sits firmly in premium spirits territory, yet the palate opens crisp and dry before settling into a rounded, smooth finish without the harsh burn typical of high-proof spirits. The 200ml bottle is a compact format designed for focused sipping rather than extended sessions. Rice distillate character remains clearly present, with grain-derived warmth providing the structural backbone throughout.
