Description

Songhwabaekilju is a 38% ABV herbal spirit from Jeollabuk-do built around pine pollen, pine needles, and young pine shoots, then layered with cornelian cherry, omija berry, and goji berry. The result is an aromatic spirit where resinous forest notes and tart, fruity undertones alternate with each sip. It carries the distinction of being created under the lineage of Food Master No. 1, the late Jo Yeong-gwi, and holds Jeollabuk-do provincial intangible cultural heritage status. This is one of the most ceremonially significant traditional spirits still produced in Korea today.
