Samhaeju is a 15% ABV traditional brew from Gyeonggi-do, produced by Seonin Brewing using Yangju rice, nuruk, and purified water. The name references the traditional three-stage brewing method (sam-hae), where fermentation is built up in successive layers to develop complexity rather than relying on ingredient additions. At 500ml and 15%, this is a structured, composed brew where smooth texture and restrained sweetness reflect the precision of multi-stage technique rather than bold flavoring.
