Roa 19 Yellow is a 19% ABV soju from Chungcheongnam-do, produced from domestic Korean pear and rice through a nuruk-and-yeast fermentation followed by distillation. The pear contributes a softer, more rounded fruit profile compared to its apple-based sibling (Roa 19 Red), with juicy sweetness and gentle floral undertones. Rice in the mash provides structural grain character beneath the fruit, and lactic acid fine-tunes acidity. At 350ml, it is a compact bottle for exploring Korean fruit-based soju. The pear influence keeps the spirit gentler and more mellow than neutral-base soju, making it especially pleasant with delicate proteins like bossam or fresh seafood.
