Malkeunnaeil Sparkling Makgeolli Signature is a 6% ABV carbonated makgeolli from Gyeongsangnam-do, crafted by Upo-ui Achim Brewery using domestic non-glutinous rice (maepsal) and nuruk. Where the Balhyo Signature emphasizes traditional live fermentation, this sparkling expression adds a lively stream of bubbles that gives the classic creamy core a bright, modern rhythm. The brewery was selected as a 2022 "Visiting Brewery" (Chajaganeun Yangjojang) producer, a government-backed designation that highlights local craft excellence. At 970ml, the bottle is generously sized for group meals, and the refreshing sparkle makes it particularly versatile with fried, grilled, and fermented Korean dishes.
