Description

Krate Medium Dry is an 11.5% ABV fruit wine from Sudosan Winery in Gyeongsangbuk-do, made entirely from wild mountain meoru grapes (Vitis coignetiae). The medium-dry style positions it between the winery's sweeter offerings and a fully dry table wine, delivering bright berry aromatics with a firmer, more structured finish that invites food pairing. Wild meoru grapes carry a deeper, more tannic profile than cultivated varieties, and this wine channels that intensity into a controlled, food-friendly expression. The 750ml format and the winery's 2020 'Chajaganeun Yangjojang' (Visiting Brewery) designation reflect a craft-oriented approach rooted in regional terroir. Serve it alongside aged cheese, cured meat platters, or full Korean stews where the wine's backbone can match the dish.
