Description
Haneul (Sky) is a 45% ABV barley-based distilled soju from Chungcheongnam-do's Naeguk Brewing. The distillate undergoes oak chip contact, which imparts subtle warm spice and a faint vanilla undertone without overpowering the grain's clean character. Despite its considerable strength, the palate is remarkably smooth and composed, delivering depth rather than heat. Lactic acid and citric acid in the formulation contribute to a rounded, polished mouthfeel. Haneul belongs to Naeguk Brewing's elemental series alongside Baram, Byeol, and Si, each exploring a different facet of Korean spirit-making at distinct proof points.
