The recipe uses fresh new-crop rice (haepssal) and glutinous rice with nuruk and water, and the 9% ABV places it in the mid-strength range where the body has real substance without the heaviness of 12-15% bottles. The glutinous rice adds a distinctive chewiness and a richer mouthfeel than regular rice alone, with a subtle stickiness that clings to the palate. The aroma is warm steamed rice with a honeyed grain undertone, and the first sip delivers a plush, dense sweetness that spreads slowly across the tongue.
