Description
Dam Pine (Damsol) is a 40% ABV spirit from Hamyang, Gyeongsangnam-do, where locally grown rice makes up 90% of the base and pine needles with fresh pine shoots contribute the remaining 10%. The aromatic profile evokes a Korean mountain forest - resinous, green, and layered - while the rice base grounds the spirit in grain-derived sweetness. Food Master No. 27, Park Heung-seon, oversees production, and the spirit has earned consecutive grand prizes at Korea Traditional Liquor quality competitions. Despite its high proof, the finish is cool and clean rather than fiery.
