Uirim Soju is a 40% ABV distilled soju from Chungcheongbuk-do, produced by Jecheon Hanyak Brewing using 100% domestic rice. The spirit prioritizes textural purity over aromatic complexity - the distillation is designed to yield a clean, grain-focused profile where rice character comes through as smooth body rather than pronounced flavor. It received an encouragement award at the 2013 Korea Traditional Liquor Awards in the distilled soju category. The 700ml bottle positions it as a full-size offering suitable for table sharing, and its straightforward grain identity makes it a reliable companion for dishes where the food should lead.
