Seoul Jangsu's production facility in Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk-do uses puffed rice and puffed wheat flour for this 5% modern makgeolli - one of the lightest expressions in the lineup. The aroma is toasted cereal and malt syrup with a whiff of caramel corn. On the palate, the body is notably soft and airy, with a straightforward sweetness supported by maltooligosaccharide and a creamy flow that barely registers as alcoholic. The finish is very short and clean. Serve ice-cold at 3-5°C as a refreshing starter. Pairs with corn dogs (hot dogs on sticks) or cheese tteokbokki for a fun, casual Korean street-food moment.
