Igangju No. 5 is a 25% ABV soju from Jeollabuk-do, distilled by Jeonju Igangju Brewery using domestic rice, purified water, Korean pear, jeonmaek (barley), ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, honey, yeast, nuruk, and enzyme preparations. Igangju is one of Jeollabuk-do's most celebrated traditional spirits, historically prized for its layered botanical complexity, and the No. 5 expression balances fruit, spice, and sweetness in harmonious proportion. Korean pear provides the foundational fruit character — clean, aromatic, lightly sweet — while ginger and cinnamon add warming spice notes and turmeric contributes earthy undertones. Honey rounds the entire profile with a gentle, natural sweetness.
