Description

Hwayo is a premium distilled soju line from Gyeonggi-do, offered at three proof points - 41%, 25%, and 17% ABV - all produced from 100% domestic rice. The rice undergoes careful fermentation and distillation before each expression is proofed down to its target strength, meaning all three share the same distillate DNA but reveal different facets: the 41% is spirit-forward with pronounced grain intensity, the 25% hits a versatile middle ground suited for food pairing, and the 17% offers a silky, almost water-like entry point without losing varietal character. The brand has earned international recognition including IWSC awards (2007) and Monde Selection gold (2008), along with strong domestic competition results.
