Description

Byeol (Star) is a 20% ABV traditional spirit from Chungcheongnam-do's Naeguk Brewing, made with early-harvest glutinous rice (olbyeo chapssal). This heritage grain variety lends a gentle, rounded sweetness and a refined texture that feels both traditional and contemporary. Nuruk and yeast fermentation keep the body smooth, while the balanced finish prevents sweetness from overstaying. Byeol is part of Naeguk Brewing's celestial-themed series and occupies the same 20% ABV tier as Baram, but its glutinous rice base produces a distinctly softer, more enveloping mouthfeel. It pairs naturally with the varied flavors of a shared Korean table.
