Boseok Makgeolli is a 12% ABV rice wine from Seoul's Boseok Brewery, built on a minimal recipe of Korean-grown rice, nuruk, yeast, and purified water with no added sweeteners or flavoring agents. This restraint lets the grain character speak clearly — the body is creamy and smooth with a clean finish that avoids the lingering heaviness common in sweeter makgeollis. At 12%, it carries more structure than a typical 6% makgeolli, offering enough backbone to stand alongside richly flavored Korean dishes.
