Description
Maesil Takteil is a 7% drink from Baehyejeong Doga in Jeongnam-myeon, Hwaseong, made from Korean white rice and natural plum juice and bottled at 375ml. The name joins takju and cocktail: it was conceived as a makgeolli cocktail with fruit. Built around plum and the color green, both popular in 2011, it uses plums at more than 20% of the starch ingredients. It won the top prize in the other-liquor category of the 2011 Korean Liquor Competition.
